Our costs are based on time spent advising, attending to you and others, perusing and preparing documentation, writing and receiving emails, telephone calls in and out and for time spent out of the office. Simon’s hourly rate is £200.00 plus VAT.

Divorce matters start at a fixed fee of £750.00 plus VAT, Court Fees are £550.00 for all work up to and including Decree Absolute.
Finance matters are charged at an hourly rate of £200.00 plus VAT. Whilst it is difficult to make an accurate prediction at this stage it is likely that the costs of reaching the First Directions Appointment will be around £2,000.00 plus VAT and disbursements. The Financial Dispute Resolution will cost up to £4,000.00 plus VAT and disbursements. Matters settling after the FDR will be around £5,000.00 plus VAT and disbursements . In the unlikely event we will need a Final Hearing we will quote separately for that at the time.
Children matters are charged at an hourly rate of £200.00 plus VAT. It should cost around £1,000.00 plus VAT and disbursements to have one Hearing and if the matter does not resolve at this Hearing then it will cost around £500.00 plus VAT for each Hearing.
